The Garver Group supports law firms using the Tabs3 suite of software in various ways, and have been doing so for more than twenty years. We are proud to serve firms nationwide practicing many different disciplines and ranging in size from the sole practitioners to firms with scores of attorneys. Our clients recognize the value our support brings to their operations, some have been with us for over 20 years.
We develop custom tailored solutions for each of our clients based on their specific billing and technological needs and budgets. Some of our clients utilize us for billing support only, some for bookkeeping support, while for many others, we serve as their entire back-office operations department. No matter what the arrangement, our clients enjoy superior service, usually in a more cost-effective manner than with traditional employee-based methods. One common benefit all of our clients will identify is the quality and responsiveness we bring to their operation as compared to what they previously experienced.
Our expertise helps our clients utilize their billing and bookkeeping software to its fullest capability. We understand that a simple and accurate recording and billing of time entries is rarely enough to provides the necessary information critical to the firm’s decision makers. Contingent and myriad flat fee and alternate billing arrangements must be processed correctly to ensure that the information is processed and output properly. We ensure our clients realize how a detailed and thorough billing and bookkeeping process with Tabs 3 is critical to maximizing their productivity.
Geography is no obstacle for our support. We are your back office just down the virtual hallway. We are able and equipped to support firms nationwide. We currently serve our law firm clients in the following states:
It’s not often that you hear the following:
This quote is from the Managing Partner who recently retained The Garver Group, Inc. under a bookkeeping support plan to replace their Office Manager/Bookkeeper of two years who was leaving. We began our support two weeks prior to the departure of this key individual. On beginning our support, we discovered a disturbing fact and immediately set to work in reconciling nine months of bank statements (a red flag in and of itself). In doing so, we uncovered a systematic pattern of unauthorized withdrawals from the firm’s bank accounts. Because of this quick action, the firm was able to confront the employee, obtain an admission, eliminate further losses and evaluate legal action.
While not a unique situation, it is indicative that many firms ‘overlook too much’. In this situation, the attempt to cover up was incredibly sloppy, demonstrated a complete lack of competence and was indicative of the general state of the firm’s bookkeeping activities in general. That has all since changed.
